An Abu Dhabi group will invest 45 billion dollars in Pakistan and build world’s tallest building in Karachi city of Pakistan.

Islamabad, Feb 16/Nationalturk – In a major boost for Pakistan’s economy, an Abu Dhabi group will invest 45 billion dollars in Pakistan and build world’s tallest building in Karachi city of Pakistan.

According to media reports, chairman Abu Dhabi Group, Union National Bank and United Bank Limited  Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak al Nahyan signed an agreement with Malik Riaz Hussain, Pakistan’s real estate tycoon and former chairman and present consultant of Bahria Town, Pakistan in Abu Dhabi on Friday.

Group will invest 45 billion dollars in Pakistan

According to the agreement, the Abu Dhabi group will invest 45 billion dollars in militancy hit Pakistan.

An official of the company said the investment will be made in various construction projects, and is the biggest-ever foreign investment in Pakistan.

“These projects also include the construction of the tallest building of the world (Taller than Burj Khalifa, Dubai) in Pakistan’s Karachi city”.

He said these projects will employ more than 2.5 million people and boost more than 55 industries like cement, bricks, iron, steel and glass.

“The agreement will have a revolutionary impact on not only Pakistan’s economy but also the tourism of the country,” the official said.

The Abu Dhabi Group had previously made investments in Pakistan by  establishing Bank Alfalah, Warid Telecom and Wateen Telecom.
