The 2010 American Idol voted it’s first contestants from the live stage yesterday.
It was very easy for the audiences to pick their favourites this week after a very poor semifinal with dull performances from the majority of the contestants.
When the time came for the elimination, their were no surprises with the contestants going home. However there were surprises for some of the contestants that managed to stay for another week.
So, who won America’s favor from the dull star? And who was unjustly spared?
I have to say I can’t believe Haely Vaughn, Lacey Brown, Jermaine Sellers and Tim Urban were not eliminated. Especially Tim Urban with very poor vocals only made me think he is here for his looks.
The American Idol Eliminated Singers
Ashley Rodriguez: Ashley was no surprise for me with her elimination as she had a very bad week. The women were better performers then the guys this week and she just did not stand out. Well yeah she did but in a negative way.
Janell Wheeler: Janell was someone that I personally liked with her good looks and beautiful voice but, again like Ashley she just did not stand out amongst the other contestants.
Joe Munoz: Joe did not perform extremely well but his vocals were better then many contestants, but I guess he was going to be eliminated sooner or later as I do not see him in the finals.
Tyler Grady: Tyler, I must say was a slight surprise for me as I liked his 70’s style but at times he just did not look natural. It was as if he was trying to hard. However I guess the audiences thought the same way as he was eliminated. His performance on Wednesday night was also poor.
What are we to expect in the following weeks. Well, the contestants I am sure will up there game a little more but with the nerves kicking in I am sure some contestants will perform very poorly such as Tim Urban.
