The attacker had Kilicdaroglu added four punches, with the spectacles of politician was broken, reported the online edition of the newspaper “Hürriyet”. Kilicdaroglu was on his way to the group meeting his Republican People’s Party (CHP), when the offender approached him and beat him. In his subsequent speech to the CHP Group Kilicdaroglu said he will not bow to some fisticuffs. “The road to democracy is full of obstacles,” he said. Kilicdaroglu called on his followers to rest. The ruling AKP party of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the attack.
