Besiktas Chairman Demiroren was recently in constant talks with members from political partys in Turkey, AKP (ruling Justice and Development Party), CHP ( oppositianal Rebuplicans People Party) and MHP (National Movement Party), lobbying in its own right to keep the match fixing suspectee teams from being relegated.

Besiktas board members criticise the chairman claiming, his actions are an embarassment for Besiktas Sports Club and stamp the 108 year old club as a match fixing suspect.
