Chelsea Arsenal battle for Farfan transfer

Fc Schalke o4 forward is one of the main transfer targets of Arsenal and Chelsea.

London / NationalTurk – The winter transfer windows had just been shut, yet transfer rumours for summer are pouring in. It is wellknown that Schalke forward winger Jefferson Farfan has drawn attraction from some Premiere League outfits.

Peruvian newspapaer Trome reports Chelsea and Arsenal are chasing the 27 tear-old Farfan, whose contract expires this summer. Both London based Premiere League sides are eager to sign Farfan, who will be a free agent after June 2012.

Chelsea is reported to rejuvenate the squad and invest for long-trem transfers. 27 year-old Jefferson Farfan is part of this plan. Meanwhile Chelsea’s London rivals  Arsenal also show some interest for the Peruvian player, who proved to be a fine footballer at the German Bundesliga.

One obstacle preventing Farfan’s move to England would be the Farfan’s demands on his contract extension with Fc Schalke 04, which will play a decisive role for the amount of money Arsenal or Chelsea spend on Farfan.
