Juventus is ready to trump Milan and PSG offers for Tevez , as Juventus have entered the fray for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez with a £21 million offer, while Manchester City demand £25m for Carlos Tevez.

Carlos Tevez is currently absent without leave in his homeland and recently expressed a desire to return to former club Boca Juniors but a lack of funds may scupper such a deal, with interest from Italy seen as more realistic.

AC Milan are known suitors but have reportedly so far only offered a loan-to-buy deal, with City looking for an upfront sale to end the ongoing saga.

Manchester City chairman, money spinner Khaldoon Al-Mubarak, is reportedly holding out for closer to £25m for the former Manchester United forward, who joined the Premier League leaders in 2009.

Carlos Tevez has endured an eventful season, being fined by City after allegedly refusing to warm up in a Champions League fixture against Bayern Munich in September and refusing to return to training.

The 27-year-old’s last appearance with a Manchester City jersey was in a League Cup match against Birmingham on September 23.

Juve wants Tevez, Tevez wants Milan / Fate of Tevez transfer

Juventus have opened formal talks with Manchester City to sign Carlos Tevez in the form of a series of telephone calls direct to Roberto Mancini from Pavel Nedved, a key director for the Italian club.

Nedved, the former Czech Republic international, has spoken to Mancini several times to instigate discussions about the Argentina international. The Serie A club have proposed a £21m package but City are hopeful they can get more than that in the face of rival interest from Milan and Paris St-Germain.

Tevez’s preference would be to join AC Milan but all they have proposed is a loan deal to the end of the season, leading to a possible £17.2m move next summer. Milan’s vice-president, Adriano Galliani, declared on Wednesday night that “offer is final” but Manchester City are adamant they will not give Tevez on loan and there is scepticism at the Manchester City board about whether Milan have the financial power to return with a suitable offer.

PSG certainly have the money, backed by moneybag Qatari owners, but so far they, too, have not come up with an offer good enough to lure the Manchester City chairman, Khaldoon al-Mubarak, to sell a player who has been on strike since flying to Argentina without permission on 8 November.
