Welcome to the Jungle of Ohio! A total of 48 Wild beasts, including lions, grizzly bears, tigers, cheetahs and wolves escaped a private wildlife preserve in eastern Ohio!

“There are still thought to be numerous dangerous beasts on the loose, many of them vicious predators, creating a public safety threat.” Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz stated and added that sheriff deputies are on the hunt armed with shotguns, were patrolling areas in pickup trucks early Wednesday morning. Schools in at least four districts in Ohio were declared closed for Wednesday, as authorities asked residents to stay inside until the rest of the wil beasts were rounded up or killed, before they prey on humans.

The animals escaped from the Muskingum County Animal Farm in Zanesville on Tuesday following the farm’s owner, Terry Thompson’s undisclosed death. Authorities did not elaborate how Terry Thompson died.
