The so-called Super Final started with Fenerbahce vs Trabzonspor game where Emre Belözoğlu has racially abused Trabzonspor player Didier Zokora. Emre admitted right after the game he has used racial slur against Zokora but at the press conference he held with his black teammate Yobo the day after the match he denied having used racist remarks and said ‘ I did not call Zokora a ‘ f….g n….r ‘ i called him a ‘ prick.’ And then he explained what prick means in Turkish. Really..

Besiktas vs Galatasaray game also has been controversial like the other game of the week. The game was postponed on Saturday due to pelt down and supposed to be the first Super Final game. The game has been played on Monday and Galatasaray won 0-2 vs city rivals Besiktas on Besiktas’ own turf.
A highly controversial goal by Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo, from what was very clearly an offside position during a goalmouth scramble was the sign of bad things to occur. Felipe Melo nicknamed ‘ Pitbull’ and made the best of his nickname by attacking his teammate Albert Riera last week and hospitalizing the Spanish midfielder.
However Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has pardoned Felipe Melo, since his team needed the all-important ‘ dog ‘ badly in the playoffs.

The Besiktas club faces very serious internal problems, no doubt about it. Electing Fikret Orman to fill the chairmanship post vacated by Yıldırım Demirören, who is ironically the president of Turkish football and finally bringing coach Tayfur Havutçu a disliked figure at Besiktas ( not for being imprisoned amid match fixing case, but for his comments towards his own players) back to the helm put the oldest club in Turkey in total misery.
The referee of the game Hüseyin Göçek, whose photos appeared on Turkish media where he had a Galatasaray jersey on, proved that the concerns of Besiktas fans haven’t been for nothing. Felipe Melo’s goal was clearly from an offside position but that was not the single ‘ mistake ‘ the referee had done during the Besiktas vs Galatasaray game.
And thereafter tempers flared with every passing minute. The so-called referee made too many mistakes — too many controversial calls and too many non-calls, all against Besiktas.

Two disallowed goals from Besiktas in those games and the final goal Galata had scored which was a product from an obvious charging foul in the last minute at their Arena had pushed Besiktas fans to their limits and they invaded the pitch yesterday wanted to throttle the ref and Melo and Eboue, the ever drama quenn.
The Nonsense called Super Final will continue with the Galatasaray Fenerbahce derby game, which is the main reason for the broadcasters to make more money out of the corruption which is called Turkish Super League.

Turkish football is full of suspense, they cant be banned from any european competition. they are artistst full of love and the best of the earth, joyfull.
“Felipe Melo’s goal was clearly from an offside position but that was not the single ‘ mistake ‘ the referee had done during the Besiktas vs Galatasaray game.” First of all, as you must know, it is not the head referee that makes offside decisions, but rather the linesman. Second of all, I’m not sure what other mistakes you’re referring to as most of the calls in the second half went Besiktas’ way, and it pretty much had to given the embarrassing display from the crowd to prevent a full-out disaster.
So before throwing up the title ‘scandalous refereeing’, it would be wise to have more evidence than a referee’s picture with an old uniform – which, if anything, should pressure the referee into making calls in favor of Besiktas as the media would otherwise straightly jump to false conclusions, as you have done so here.
