Beşiktaş manager Mustafa Denizli underwent heart surgery at the American Hospital in Istanbul.

Denizli arrived at the hospital in the morning hours with former board director Erol Kaynar and former Turkey national team manager Can Çobanoğlu where he went through tests.

Soon after the test results were available to the doctors, Denizli was sat on the operating table to receive an angioma.

Denizli was not left alone by his club as Yıldırım Demirören who just recently won the election for chairman for the third success time visited the manager with board members of Beşiktaş.

It has been said that Denizli will wrest for a few days and then return to his job.
