Beşiktaş outplay Fenerbahçe to win 3-0

Beşiktaş sent a message to critics and the other title contenders by beating Fenerbahçe 3-0 on Saturday and showed that they are in the title race.

The Beşiktaş Vs Fenerbaçe game was the long awaited game for the past fortnight due to the world cup play-offs break and the Istanbul derby was one to watch for all.

The first half of the game was very entertaining as expected but no goals were scored and the teams went into half time level with scores 0-0.

The second half started just like the first with both teams thinking only of attacking but the awaited goal came on the 54th minute when German Fink volleyed the ball magnificently from an Ibrahim Üzülmez cross.
The game however was won by 2 inspirational players out on the field. The Germans Fink and Ernst was outstanding and both played very well to drop the inspirational Fenerbahçe captain Alex from the game.

Beşiktaş scored 2 more times through Bobo just 3 minutes later and substitute Uğur Inceman who scored on the 83rd minute.

This was a big blow to Fenerbahçe with Galatasaray drawing at home to Manisaspor they could have taken their lead to 34 points with closest rivals Galatasaray on 29 points.

Besiktaş in the other hand is closing in on the leaders with 7 straight victories after a very poor start by the Turkish champions which as a result saw chairman Yildirim Demiroren get egged at Istanbul airport and insulted verbally at the Beşiktaş stadium.
