A body of a 21-year old student James Nolan from Ireland has been found by Polish divers in the city of Bydgoszcz in Poland. The body of Irish football fan was found in the waters of a channel flowing through the city of Bydgoszcz, where James Nolan was last seen.

James Nolan, who had been studying environmental engineering at Dublin’s Institute of Technology, had travelled to Poland to support Ireland football team at Euro 2012.

Irish young student spent Saturday night with his four Irish friends in the city’s Old Town, but did not return to his hotel on Sunday morning. Then James Nolan’s friends went back to the riverside bars where they had been drinking the night before to look for him, but about fifteen hours passed before they reported him missing.

Photos of Irish men James Nolan have been plastered around the city and one police official says the disappearance is highly extraordinary for a usually peaceful and quiet place.

Officially The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Polish police searching for Irish soccer fan James Nolan have recovered a body of missing Irish 21-year old James Nolan. He is the first victim of the Euro 2012 event in Poland.
