Deadly Turkish army helicopter crash in Afghanistan

Turkish helicopter crashed in Afghanistan, killing at least 12 Turkish soldiers and two children.A Turkish army Sikorsky helicopter has fallen on a house in the Afghan capital Kabul.

A military statement says the Turkish military helicopter, a Sikorsky, was on an ISAF mission when it went down Friday. It said the cause of the accident was not immediately known.

Police in Afghanistan said earlier that a helicopter crashed into houses near the capital Kabul and that 10 people were killed in the crash.
