Two Bulgarian students going to college in Tampa, Florida made a shivery discovery in their apartment – hidden cameras hidden in the smoke detectors were actually following their every moment.
For three months, somebody was watching every move of 22-year-old Vanya Amokovareva and 23-year-old Ralitsa Dzhambazova in their apartment, while they slept and showered and continued with their lives, totally unaware, detectives informed.
“I’m feeling very noxious,” Amokovareva, on of the peeping victims states a local TV station. Her friend Ralitsa said ” I feel abused .”
The students are in shock and feeling abused
The exchange students told investigators that they moved into the apartment three months ago, discovered the cameras on Tuesday. Vanya Amokovareva said she found the camera in the bathroom aimed at the shower with tape, while she was taking a shower.
“These cameras at first sight appeared to be motion detectors for an alarm system, most probably a cover as smoke detectors” a Hillsborough County sheriff’s reported.
And they were in every room of the apartment, watcing every move of the young Bulgarian girls.
Investigators are now searching for the pervert who planted them, and looking for clues if the system has been active while the girls were living in the pad.
