CIA OKed Terrorist Action Against Cuba

Terrorist Posada Carriles shamelessly boasted about the fact that every one of his violent actions against Cuba was specifically authorized by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.

That affirmation is contained in statements made by the Salvadoran citizen Francisco Chavez Abarca after his arrest and subsequent deportation to Cuba.

Chavez Abarca previously traveled to Cuba to plant explosives in tourist facilities.

Posada Carriles had excellent relationships with almost every right-wing president of El Salvador prior to the current administration, according to statements by Chavez Abarca published in Granma newspaper.

When Salvadorian terrorist Raul Ernesto Cruz Leon appeared on a Cuban TV program in 1997 confessing his link to the Cuban American National Foundation and Posada Carriles, the latter ordered him to kill Leon’s relatives, so he now fears for the life of his wife and kids.

According to Prensa Latina, during that period, the Posada Carriles/CANF terrorist network planted over 30 explosive artefacts (18 in less than a year) in Cuba and 11 of them exploded in different tourism facilities, causing the death of young Italian tourist Fabio Di Celmo, injuries to several people, and considerable material damage.

However, the fatalities could have numbered in the thousands if the plots to bomb busy recreational and tourism facilities had been carried out. They were foiled by Cuban security forces, in close cooperation with the people.
