Cuban Workers Announce May Day Celebration

The Central Organization of Cuban Workers on Monday officially called for celebrating May Day as an expression of support for the Revolution and the agreements approved by the 6th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.

According to CTC, the May 1 events will show the world the determination of working people to defend and reaffirm the socialist character of the Cuban Revolution and its irreversible continuity.

Every worker, farmer, member of the Federation of Cuban Women, member of the Committee to Defend the Revolution, and patriot feels proud of have defended and maintained Cuba sovereignty and independence against United States attacksfor all these years, the CTC statement said.
