According to media report in United States, a masked gunman has killed 10 people at a premiere showing of the new Batman movie in Colorado, up to 40 others were injured and hospitalized.
The unknown killer in a gas mask had opened fire at the showing in a mall in the Denver suburb of Aurora and set off a smoke or tear gas bomb. Local radio has reported that people were running and screaming from the Century Aurora 16 Movie Theater in a mall in the suburb of Denver in Colorado.

As many as 40 people are believed to have been injured in the attack. The gunman reportedly opened fire after 30 minutes of the showing of ‘ The Dark Knight Rises ‘ and also set off a smoke or tear gas bomb.
The doctors said they had been receiving patients with gunshot wounds from the early hours of the morning and are expecting to receive more. But they said they could not confirm any fatalities.
The radio-reporter in Colorado has told the attack has started with a midnight showing of the new Batman ‘ The Dark Knight Rises ‘ movie and the theatres were packed that were showing this movie. Police officers were carting the injured to the hospital in their own cars, not even waiting for the ambulances. Colorado local media have reported there were 2 gunmen involved and one of them has already been arrested. The officers are searching for another. Police closed off surrounding parking lots as sniffer dogs were brought in to search for a suspected explosive device.
Three victims which are in a critical condition had already been rushed for treatment while medical staff had been told to prepare for a mass casualty event.
