Derrick Roland Leg break Video

Texas A&M senior, Derrick Roland suffered a terrible injury on the court during a game against Washington. Roland was in considerable pain and was taken of the field with a stretcher while the fans and his team mates had their hands in their heads inset of the terrible injury.

The injury occurred while Roland crashed hard to the court after jumping under the basket.

Roland is one of the leading defenders in the Big 12 Conference at this time. Play continued however Coach Mark Turgeon ran on the court as play had moved to the other end. Four doctors worked on Roland for 10 minutes then he was removed on the stretcher wearing an air cast and loaded onto an ambulance.

From the photos and the video it certainly looks as if he has broken his right lower leg which was very similar to the injury Djibril Cisse suffered during a friendly game between France and China.
