ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — World No 1 Novak Djokovic crashed no 3 seated Roger Federer 6-2, 6-1 on Friday to reach the final of the World Tennis Championship exhibition event on the last day of 2011.

Novak Djokovic fired a warning to his rivals ahead of the Australian Open 2012.

The top-ranked Djokovic finished off the No. 3 Federer in 44 minutes. Roger Federer saddened his loyal fans with the poor result. Federer, who ended the season with a 17-match winning streak, had no answer to Djokovic, who streaked away to a comfortable victory in just 44 minutes.
