Eva Longoria got a bit more of a cool down than she was expecting as she took to the water in Marbella, Spain, on Sunday.

The 40-year-old star was trying to beat the heat as she sunbathed on the sand but her attempt to have a refreshing frolic in the shallows fast turned into a brisk wake up. According to Daily Mail, The Desperate Housewives star could not hide her shock as she dipped herself into the ocean, screaming as the waves splashed cold water up her body.

While the swim may not have been as pleasurable as she was hoping for, the star certainly looked great as she went for one. The brunette beauty – who has been holidaying at the seaside location for a few days now – rocked a body which would be the envy of women half her age.

The actress showed off her curves in a predominately white bikini which featured skimpy tie side bottoms with a green plant print and striking white and blue long ties. Recovering from the shock, the star slicked back her long brown locks and wrung out the excess water before dashing back up the beach to once again sun herself. Making her look go from beach ready to beach glam, Eva added a pair of big gold hoop earrings and gold reflective aviators.
