RHCP bassist ‘Flea’ , one of the most talented musicians in US, tweets his celebrity crush on Turkish volleyball star Neslihan Darnel.

Australian-born American musician, bassist from US Rock band Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Flea expressed his sudden crush on Turkish volleyball player Neslihan Darnel via Twitter.

The bassist of the popular US Rock band the Red Hot Chilly Peppers which will perform in Istanbul, Turkey on 8th September has written at his Twitter account that he has a undeniable ‘celebrity crush ‘ on red hot Turkish volleyball player, Neslihan Darnel.

The talented musician Michael Peter Balzary, better known by his stage name ‘Flea,’ posted a tweet on his Twitter account yesterday declaring his crush during the London Olympics volleyball game between Turkey and US women’s teams.

Few mentally challenged Turkish Twitter users reminded Flea seriously that Neslihan Darnel was married with children. Some Turks went too far by even threatening Flea for ‘ abusing’ a ‘ national ‘ volleyball player. These so-called guardians of honour build unfortunately the core of Turkish society and think seriously and -not just jestingly- this is a matter of honour. The question is if Flea is going to meet his crush, Neslihan, during Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Istanbul concert this September.

Meanwhile, Neslihan’s husband Orkun Darnel responded to Flea’s tweet. He mentioned that he and Neslihan react to this rather symphatically and its a normal and nothing to be exaggarated greatly. They shared a laugh and that’s it.
