Google Doodle celebrate Turkish Maritime and Cabotage Day
Google doodles and celebrates the 85th Turkish Maritime and Cabotage Day, 1st July.
The world’s largest search engine Google reminds special days to users. On 1st July every year it is Maritime and Cabotage Day in Turkey, this year a google doodle celebrates this meaningful day with figures of sea and boat.
The meaning of Cabotage Day in Turkey
In Turkey, the cabotage law was adopted on July 1 in1926, the law stated “Ports and harbors and beaches of Turkey between the passenger and freight transport as well as pilotage and towage services, the Turkish citizens and Turkish Flag is made with the cruise ships sailing”. The sea borders of Turkey established and provision of these activities is open to foreigners by bringing principally citizens of the Republic of Turkey can do just that from 1st July 1926.
