An Israeli soldier missing in the Gaza Strip. In an attack on an armored vehicle six comrades were killed. But there has not been any trace of the seventh soldiers.

In the Gaza conflict, the fate of a party to the Israeli ground offensive soldiers is uncertain. The Israeli army said on Tuesday in an attack on an armored vehicle in Gaza were on Sunday killed at least six soldiers. “Efforts to identify the seventh soldiers (in the vehicle) to go further,” it said in the statement.

Also on Sunday had stated that it had captured an Israeli soldier, the radical Islamic Hamas. Name and identification number were called. Israel’s ambassador to the UN had immediately denied this.

Israeli media reports said the military assumes that the missing soldier was killed in the attack. But seems also possible that Hamas could have captured the soldiers – or at least his body might have become hold of. Both would be a serious setback for Israel.
