Turkey National team manager Guus Hiddink remains the favourite on Abramovich wish-list to replace sacked Carlo Ancelotti as the new Chelsea manager.

He is ready to answer Abramovich’s call despite the confusion that hangs over his position as manager of Turkey.

Guus Hiddink’s agent, Cees van Nieuwenhuizen declared publicly, that his client would not be available until Turkey’s European Championship 2012 qualifying campaign comes to an end in October.

If so, The Belgium vs Turkey game could mark the elimination of Turkey from the European Championship 2012 qualifiers and Turkey Football Federation would have no other choice than firing the experienced Guus Hiddink, who still keeps his popularity among Chelsea fans and board, especially his number 1 fan, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

According to sources close to Guus Hiddink, the man who guided PSV Eindhoven to European Cup glory in 1988 has even been given permission in principle by Roman Abramovich to operate as an advisor to Ajax while operating as Chelsea’s manager.

There was a very obvious change in the attitude of the Turks, following the rumors, as there was from Hiddink’s agent, Cees van Nieuwenhuizen.
