Hector Cuper will take over coaching vacancy at Orduspor, a Turkish Super league outfit.

Former Inter and Valencia manager Hector Cuper has reportedly agreed to take charge of Turkish Super Lig side Orduspor.

The Argentine manager, who was sacked as Racing Santander boss at the end of November, has arrived in Turkey to meet with club president Nedim Turkmen and take in Thursday’s clash with Trabzonspor

Orduspor are currently struggling in 14th place in the Turkish Super League, having won just four of their 16 games to date, despite a promisinf start to 2011-2012 season after having been promoted from 2nd league.

Hector Cuper is one of the most well travelled managers in Europe, having made his name with Mallorca and Valencia in Spain before being appointed Inter boss in 2001. He will be one of the most experienced and succesful coaches in Turkey, as he saw 3 Champions League finals, yet he was marked as ‘unlucky’ and ‘runner up for life’ since he failed to grab the trophy in this 3 attempts in the competition. He was elimanted twice with Valencia in 2000 and 2001 and once in the semis with Inter.

The 56-year-old South American has also coached in Greece, as well as serving as Georgia’s national team manager between 2008 and 2009.,
