How I Met Your Mother season 8 premiere: Will Barney really marry Robin?

This series will give fans another glimpse at the future, and this time it will be from the perspective of a child on the series. From Inside The Box revealed the following:

“We’ve already seen plenty of Ted’s children in the future — and now it’s time to meet Marvin, Marshall and Lily’s son. Sure, we’ve seen him as an infant, but in the fourth episode of Season 8, titled “The Bro Code for Parents,” we’ll see Marvin at 2, 6, and 13 as he gets well-intentioned advice from his three godparents. And, well, you know what they say about good intentions.”

Marvin will certainly be a focus of this season. From finding him a nanny to Robin babysitting him at some point during the season, he will be seen a lot during the season. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

#HowIMetYourMother never gets old!!

 Shows Barney is going to have some cold feet come wedding day.

And if he’s acting like that with Robin, what the heck is going to happen to him and his current fiancee, Quinn (Becki Newton)? “HIMYHM” is getting to that, or so the creators promise.

“We’re going to show the fans a glimpse of something that we hope will blow their minds,” Thomas said in reference to the season opener. That includes, as stated before, a big, awesome look at Barney and Robin’s future nuptials.

Do you think that — gasp — Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and Marshall (Jason Segel) won’t be able to get Barney down the aisle? Or will the big, awesome look have to do with something completely unrelated to the Barnacle and his future bride?
