Hulk Ready For Premier League

Hulk’s agent has claimed the Barclays Premier League is the best place for the Brazilian attacker to play while Chelsea squabble with Porto over a deal.

Roman Abramovich’s eagerness to pour his millions into Chelsea’s recruitment this summer may soon be further tested by Porto’s demands over Hulk. It is suggested that personal terms have been agreed between Chelsea and the player however FC Porto are holding out for a higher transfer fee than the reported £30 million that has been offered.

His agent Theodoro Fonseca told Antena 1: ‘Hulk has the desire to play in a better and more competitive league, with the thought of making Brazil’s squad at World Cup 2014.

‘The Premier League fulfills that requirement.’

Porto have previously claimed they would not sell the forward for less than his buy-out clause of 100m euros (£80.5m) but it seems they are willing to accept a lower offer.

Chelsea’s summer spending to an estimated £80 million.

Chelsea is prepared to pay the increased sum with talks set to continue later this week. The story states that the Brazilian is likely to arrive on a four-year deal worth £120,000 a week.  Roman Abramovich want’s his summer spending to be concluded quickly by wrapping up a deal for Hulk to accompany fellow summer signings Hazard and Marko Marin.
