In a major breakthrough, a top commander of the Indian Mujahideen Tehseen Akhtar alias Moni was arrested by Indian security agencies, dealing a deadly blow to the militant group operating in India. 

New Delhi, March 25/Nationalturk – A top commander of the Indian Mujahideen (Indian militant group) Tehseen Akhtar alias Moni was arrested by Indian security agencies.

According to Indian media reports, Indian security agencies on Tuesday arrested Akhtar. However, it has been noted Disclosed from where Akhtar was arrested.

Akhtar, 23, is alleged to have masterminded the serial blasts in the Indian city of Patna and Gaya and his arrest is said to be a major jolt for the Indian Mujahideen.

According to reports, Akhtar was heading Indian Mujahideen operations in India after its head Yasin Bhatkal’s was arrested in August last year.

‘Top police, intelligence quizzing Officials Akhtar’

‘Another IM militant arrested alleged’

Media reports said security agencies also arrested Barkat Ali, an alleged accomplice of Suspected IM militant Mohammad Sakib Ansari, in Jodhpur in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Ali had managed to give the police the slip on Sunday and had several police teams swung into action to catch him.

Five Suspected IM militants were arrested on Sunday in a joint operation of different security agencies.
