Ahead of his visit to Australia, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited ideas and thoughts from people of the country.

New Delhi, Oct 27/Nationalturk – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited ideas from people of the country for his forthcoming visit to Australia.

Indian PM is scheduled to visit Australia from November 15-17 to attend G-20 leaders’ summit in Brisbane. During his visit, he will also address the special joint sitting of the Australian Parliament.

Modi will be the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Australia since 1986. The last Indian PM to have visited the country was late Rajiv Gandhi, who visited Australia in 1986.

Ahead of his visit to Australia, Indian PM has invited ideas thoughts from people of the country.

‘Indian PM would be attending many programs’

“During my Australia visit in November I would be attending many programmes, including an interaction with the Indian community there. I want to hear ideas and thoughts from all of you, including friends in Australia and the Indian community there on my visit,” Modi wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.

He further tweeted, “Participate in this MyGov Open Forum and share your ideas on what you feel are important issues for my Australia visit: http://mygov.in/groupissue/prime-minister-in-australia/show”.

According to media reports, Indian PM would address a gathering of Indians and Australians in Sydney’s famous Olympic Park after attending G20 Leaders’ summit in Brisbane.

The event is being organised by Indian Australian Community Foundation.
