Israel Wounds Seven Palestinians in Gaza

Israeli fighters bombed the refugee camp of Nuseirat, in the Strip of Gaza, on Saturday, injuring seven people, including four children, after the unanimous support of the Arab countries for the Palestinian cause.

Medical sources noted that Israeli aviation opened fire at a house in Nuseirat and wounded three adults and four children, all civilians, although military authorities in Tel Aviv claimed that the targets were militiamen from Palestinian resistance.

A spokesperson for the Israeli Army told local radio that the armed action was aimed at destroying three alleged factories of weapons in the middle of the Gaza Strip and two “terrorist tunnels” in the north and south of that coastal area.

The aggression came after an Israeli soldier and a Palestinian civilian were killed on Friday in a shooting near the border in eastern Gaza, sources here and in Tel Aviv stated.

Immediately after the border incident, Israeli airplanes bombed a cart towed by a man in the east of the southern town of Khan Younis, wounding four people, including a 34-year-old man who died hours later.

Palestinian political leaders warned that the new Israeli escalation coincided with the announcement by Arab foreign ministers that they will grant 100 million dollars every month to the National Palestine Authority, as support if Israel retains the revenues by concept of taxes.
