Alex Reid’s family and friends reportedly fear that Katie Price is desperate to control the cage fighter.
According to the Daily Star, Reid’s loved ones are suspicious over Price’s motives following the couple’s surprise wedding in Las Vegas.
One source told: “The only reason she has married Alex is so she can have complete control over him. Now she can sack his management and get him tied into deals with her.”
Despite the rumours, Reid’s parents have publicly supported the Celebrity Big Brother winner’s nuptials.
Reid’s mother Carol, 69, commented: “This is what he has always wanted. He called in the middle of the night and I spoke to both of them. They were really, really happy. There is no disappointment for us about not being there, we are just genuinely pleased for them.”
His father Bob, 71, added: “This is magical for him.”
