Killer Whale attack SeaWorld Show back on – Video

Killer Whale IMageThe killer whale show is back on in Florida Sea World after the tragic death of Dawn Brancheau, the whale trainer who was killed by the 12,000lb killer whale Tilikum.

There are fuzzy reports of the incidents with some eye witnesses saying she was pulled into the water by the whale and others saying she was in the water when she was attacked by the huge sea mammal.

However, more precortions will now be taken at SeaWorld Orlando, Florida, as trainers are banned from entering the water untill a full investigation concludes into the death of the 40-year-old experienced animal lover.

The bosses at the show have also announced that the whale involved in the attack will retain a key feature at the controversial Shamu Believe show.

Thad Lacinak, the former head trainer at SeaWorld praised Dawn’s skills last night but added, she made a grave mistake by getting so close to Tilikum, the largest killer whale in captivity.

He said: “She one of the best trainers I’ve seen in my life, but allowing her ponytail to drift into the water in front of the animal was a fatal mistake.”

There have been much debate since the tragic incident around animals in captivity and weather or not these huge creatures belong in such small areas away from their natural habitats.
