King of Bahran Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa will be arriving on a three-day visit to Pakistan tomorrow (Tuesday) to strengthen ties between the two countries.

Islamabad, March 17/Nationalturk: After Saudi Arabia’s prince’s visit to Pakistan, the king of Bahran Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa will be arriving on a three-day visit to Pakistan tomorrow (Tuesday) to strengthen ties between the two countries.

“King of Bahrain will arrive here tomorrow on the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He would be leading a high-level delegation including members of Cabinet, Government officials and important businessmen,”  said a spokesman of Pakistan Foreign Office today.

Al Khalifa will meet Pakistan president, PM, other leaders

During his stay in the country,  Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa would hold talks with Pakistan President, Prime Minister and other leaders on bilateral, regional and international matters of mutual interest.

“The visit would also provide a good opportunity to explore ways and means to further strengthen cooperation in diverse areas of interest particularly in expanding bilateral trade and enhance investments in Pakistan,” the spokesman said.

First visit of Bahran king to Pakistan in 4 decades

The Bahraini King’s visit will be first official visit of the King of Bahrain to Pakistan in four decades.

“This visit will give a new impetus to the existing fraternal bonds between the two countries,” Pakistan foreign office spokesman said.

The two countries will discuss ways to increase export of Pakistani manpower to Bahrain and to facilitate the one hundred thousand strong Pakistani community residing in the Bahrain.
