Manchester United Transfer:Crystal Palace youngstar Wilfried Zaha became Red Devils player / EPL News

Wilfried Zaha deal completed, Manchester United, one of England’s most talented footballer transferred.

Wilfried Zaha has been completed by Manchester United. It’s believed that an initial £10m fee has been agreed upon with a potential £5m possible in add-on fees. In addition, as speculated, the winger will be loaned back to Crystal Palace — who currently sit 4th in the Championship and are in a fight for promotion to the Premier Leage — for the remainder of this season.

It appears that the England international will join United in the summer. It’s not known yet, as has been rumored, if the Red Devils will loan any other players to Palace as part of the deal. Nick Powell is one such player that could join them.

Zaha has been a player linked to the likes of United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea. Sir Alex Ferguson’s side, though, has long been thought to be the front-runner for the 20-year-old’s services because of their willingness to loan back the attacker for the next few months. This is despite United’s current winger problem. The youngster will reportedly make £35,000 a week over the next five-and-a-half years.

United currently have the talented winger trio of Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, and Nani.

Therefore, competition for a regular role out wide for Zaha will be fierce. It’s possible, though, that Nani could be on his way out in the summer as he and the club appear to be far apart on a contract extension — his current one expires in the summer of 2014. Nonetheless, United are a team highly dependent on wingers for chances created so the youngster should see plenty of opportunities next season.

Playing regularly for Palace the next few months while they battle for promotion should be helpful in in his development.
