Mavi Marmara Still Bears Traces of Israeli Raid

Mavi Marmara, the Turkish ship which was stormed by Israeli forces on May 31, still bears the traces of the bloody attack that resulted in the killing of 9 Turkish citizens.

The ship was part of a Turkish flotilla heading to Gaza to break the blockade on Palestinians.

Traces of bullets are seen almost everywhere on the ship, which is docked at a port in Canakkale, a city in northwestern Turkey.

Pictures from the attack were placed on seats of the ship, which was seized by Israeli authorities and handed over to Turkey on August 8.

The ship will set off on Dec. 26, heading to Istanbul.
