NATO : 3 More Soldiers killed in Afghanistan

As NATO transfers its military command in Afghanistan, sources with the military bloc admitted to the deaths of three more of its soldiers, but did not release their names or where the events occurred.

At a ceremony with a huge security deployment, General David Petraeus handed over his responsibility to John Allen, previously second-in-command of the U.S. Central Command for Central Asia.

In brief speeches, both generals referred to the so-called transition process that started Sunday, when U.S. forces transferred responsibility to the Hamid Karzai government in Bamiyan province.

Petraeus will replace Leon Panetta as Chief of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

The ceremony took place shortly before an attack near Kabul that killed Mohammed Khan, a close advisor to Karzai, and an Afghan lawmaker.
