The governor of Nigeria’s Kaduna state has been killed in a helicopter crash in the southern delta region along with 5 senior officials, his party has said.
Kaduna / NationalTurk – Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa and former national security adviser Gen Owoye Azazi and 3 others were on the helicopter which came down in Bayelsa state killing all onboard the Nigerian Navy helicopter.
Local media reported that the Governor had attended a burial ceremony of a farther of a Presidential aide in a village of Okoroba in Bayelsa state and was returning when this unfortunate incident happened about 3: 30 local time on Saturday.
“The nation has lost a great patriot who in about two years in saddle as the Governor of Kaduna State demonstrated an unyielding capacity in wielding together varying fragile interests,” the Peoples Democratic Party said in a statement to the media confirming the Governor death.
President Goodluck Jonathan’s spokesman, Reuben Abati, said in a statement that the loss was extremely painful to the entire nation and added that president Goodluck Jonathan had ordered an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
Aviation disaster common in Nigeria
This year alone had seen 3 incidents of air crash in Nigeria which many analysts believe is due to the poor nature of the aviation system in the country.
In March, a police helicopter carrying a high-ranking police official crashed in the central Nigerian city of Jos, killing four people.
In June, a Dana Air MD-83 passenger plane crashed into a neighborhood in the commercial capital of Lagos, killing 153 people onboard and at least 10 people on the ground which became a record of Nigeria’s worst air crash in nearly two decades.
In October, a plane made a crash landing in central Nigeria but no casualties were recorded but the state governor and five others who were onboard sustained various degrees of injuries.
But Prophet TB Joshua says he for saw the disaster and asked for prayers for the country
Meanwhile, as some people blamed the incident on the poor nature of the aviation system of the country, Prophet TB Joshua a power man of God in Nigeria told his congregation on Sunday afternoon that God revealed it to him and he announced it in the church as a prophecy.
The man of God ordered that the prophecy should be played back to the congregation on a big screen in the church which was also live on Emmanuel TV and You Tube channels which indeed confirmed that he gave the prophecy early this year.
The played back video showed Prophet TB Joshua warning that not more than 1 government officials should board one aircraft either from one state to the other or from Nigeria to other country since he has seen blood of high profile personalities in the country flowing from one air craft disaster.
Prophet TB Joshua is the owner of Synagogue Church Of All Nations SCOAN in Nigeria which has received international recognition as a result of what Prophet Joshua does and prophesies about other nations which comes to pass including the United States of America.
Prophet TB Joshua concluded by saying that everybody should be vigilant in prayers since what he says comes from the Lord almighty and also prayed for the family and the country to bear the grief of the late governor and those who lost their life along side him.

I am sorry for the loss of the Nigerian People. I pray that God may help the families to endure this pain of their loved ones. But for rest of Nigeria and the world we need to listen and pay attention to what God is saying through his servant, T.B Joshua and the wise men. Nigerians should be proud and yield to God that He is using some of their fellow men to warn of dangers, to deliver people from bondage, sickness, setbacks, limitations, and evils spirits of all kinds, pray for the sick, and give and help those in needs. I wish we could have some more anointed men and women of God with such power in Haiti, the United States, and other parts of the world. May God bless each one of you.

what has happened has happened we are sad over such an incident but are now praying that God will give the family of those being affected and also the kaduna state the fortitude to bear such an irrepearable lost……..mostly in nigeria we are poor in our electrical/electronics equipments as an electrical/electronics engineering student of MOUAU, bc for such an incident to be happening mostly this year and our engineers keeps silent is some how funny………..we should wake up on time…….
I thinks its a high time now for the remaining Governors to pray & fast and also amend their ways because no one knows who is next, as 4 sambo & his friend the game is over is left 4 them & their creator.
