October begins with Mercury Retrograde on 4th October. During the month, Sun is close to both Mercury and Venus which means “combust” days of Mercury and Venus in specific periods (given below). Combust planet indicates less energy on the concepts of that planet and secretive energy. Only in specific days, when the planets are “cazimi” (again, given below) the energy is at the highest level which allows us to use it perfectly.

The second week of October is one of the most dynamic weeks of 2014. In the middle of this week, on 8th of October at 12.50 we will experience Lunar Eclipse at 15 degrees of Aries. Especially people with Sun Sign or ASC sign in Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn will be affected mostly but it should be noted that if you have a planet in your own birth chart close to those degrees, you will experience the energy as well. The significant theme of this eclipse is “freedom” with the conjunct of Moon and Uranus, the sudden changes for freedom is going to be seen. It will be easier for all of us to see the individual  hidden and shadow sides for a collective transformation. Particularly, we can heal the trauma and stress that we have experienced during April Grand Cross.Eclipses are generally the unexpected, unplanned situations and in this eclipse, with the conjunct of Uranus as well, the developments will be more surprising. During the eclipse, Venus conjuncts Pluto which shows our carmic bonds, strong desires, doubts in relationships, values and sharings. We can have a chance to heal them as well. 2014 October Solar Eclipse

In the fourth week of October, we will experience a Solar Eclipse in 24th October at 00.57 at 0 degree of Scorpio. While Lunar eclipses are mostly endings, Solar eclipses are open to new beginnings and new steps. If you were born during the first degrees of fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) or if your ASC sign is there, you will see the direct effect. But the most important point is your birth chart and in which area of your birth chart has 0 degree of Scorpio. What is Mercury Retrograde?

By the way, Mercury Retrograde begins at 4th Oct. You will read “No contracts, no agreement, no mariage, problematic electronic tools, no travel…etc” We are experiencing at least 3 and sometimes 4 Mercury Retrograde per year.
