Though this might sound a little unusual for your average sports fan, Germany has been taken by surprise by their favorite psychic Octopus.

According to his own, Oliver Walenciak who spoke to the BBC, Paul the Octopus started to predict Germany’s games in Euro 2008 where he only got one wrong.
Paul the Octopus has also been 100% write so far as he has correctly predicted all of Germany’s games at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Tuesday’s prediction by the psychic Octopus was taken so seriously by the Germans that two television networks even cut their ongoing programs to show the results.
