Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Turkey

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Turkey on Sunday on a two-day working visit.

President Abbas is scheduled to meet with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan later in the day. He is also set to hold talks with Turkish President Abdullah Gul on Monday.

This is Abbas’ third visit to Turkey this year.

Turkey-Palestine relations and regional developments would be high on Abbas’ talks with top Turkish officials.

President Abbas is expected to leave Turkey on Tuesday, heading to Greece for an official visit.
