ISA World Windsurfing Competition will be held in Santa Catalina, Panama between the dates of 4th and 12th of May, 2013. World wide windsurfers will compete on behalf of their countries alone and within groups.
Thanks to 500. th Anniversary, this competition was supperted by Panama President Ricardo Martinelli and Ministery of Tourism Salo Sahama.
Panama hosted ISA World Junior Competition in 2012 in Playa Venao, ISA World Competition in 2011 in Playa Venao and ISA World Masters Competition in Santa Catalina in 2010.
Santa Catalina Island
Santa Catalina is located in Chiriqui Gulf, Veragaus. This region was discovered by windsurfers in 1970s and fishing is very famous in Santa Catalina.
By the time its discovery, the name of the island was kept as secret by people who discovered here and now it is world wide known by windsurfers and windsurf lovers. ATM and other services are one hour distance from Santa Catalina, in Suona.
Being a tropical paradise, Santa Catalina is the best offer for windsurfing in Panama and it is also close to the Isla Coiba which is the world wide known, famous diving area.
There are natural beauties and natural vast resources in Santa Catalina, Panama. Beautiful beaches, fishing villages and adventures are waiting for the travelers.

i m working with Kitepirates team for 6 years, powered by HTS Caserta and RRD
Looking for a location to create something Smart and Professional starting from 2014 , for any season, or maybe all year long.
The first intention was to work with with an existing windsurf, cat or sailing reality, offering our kitesurfing school services.
About what we are FULLY INDEPENDENT, with our own material, services and instructors.
I’m a certified VDWS windsurfing and sup intructor, so that I could also offer my services in windsurfing with the school we’re cooperating with when it is needed.
My working partner, the other Kitepirates founder, who could eventually come by, is an experieced windsurfing and watersports instructor as well, that could help in case of need, we could switch upon demand, facing any kind of situation .
We can offer a full package, so that the school we will cooperate with, can offer a new service, so taking a new segment of customers without any effort.
With RRD and HTS we also have the chances to organize test days or events, if it is of interest.
Anyways, i’m wide open to consider any kind of possibility,
spme collaboration as an instructor,
some kind of partnership ,
taking over the complete managing of something already existing,
or, founded at the right place, create something brand new.
We to do it in the best way, we need to find the place as soon as possible, in order to have time to promote the new location with our
websites and channels
Concluding, along this past years, we have realized that especially in kitesurf, teaching or renting, the services offered in several parts of the world are very low quality,
So that’s the reason why we made the decision to Start something different.
If the proposal is interesting, I can manage to get to the destination ASAP in order to check the spot, and have a conversation face by face.
