Germany’s favorite oracle, psychic, fortune telling octopus, has picked Spain to triumph over Holland in the World Cup final and win footballs most important prize.

Paul the psychic octopus has picked Spain over Holland in the World Cup final in South Africa giving people back at home a relief after the predictions of the octopus has been spot on in the last six choices, his made in the 2010 World Cup.
Paul the octopus had made German's happy during the Argentina Vs Germany quarter final when the eight legged celebrity picked Germany to win the game.
The octopus has been such a big hit that two TV networks stopped their aired programs to show the eight legged invertebrate picking his choice of who will win the World Cup in South Africa.
Paul’s choice was also aired live in many European countries.

The octopus picks the teams via two see-through cubes, in which some food and the flags of the teams which will face each other are placed in both containers with the top loose.
Once the Octopus picks which container to eat from, it opens the lid and that team is then predicted to win the game.
Germany were in a state of disbelief when Paul picked Spain over Germany on Tuesday when predicting the Spain Vs Germany World Cup Semi Final and was even more disappointed after he was proved correct.
According to Paul’s predictions, Spain will win the world cup while Holland will be runners up. Germany will come in third and Uruguay will finish the competition, fourth.
