Pink Martini Tour 2012 : The band to perform 3 concerts in Turkey
Pink Martini band Tour 2012 will start on 1st of July 2012 and continue until 6th of April 2013. Pink Martini will give 3 concerts in Turkey, in 3 biggest Turkish cities, İzmir, Ankara and Istanbul in July.
Istanbul / NationalTurk – Pink Martini 2012 Tour will include Turkey and the band from Oregon, USA has picked the venues and the dates for three concerts: Beautiful seaside town of Çeşme, İzmir at Çeşme Open-air Theatre on July 8; Turkish Capital Ankara at ODTU University on July 9 and finally on the shores of Bosphorus in Istanbul at Kuruceşme Arena on July 19.
Pink Martini who draw inspiration from music from all over the globe – crossing genres of classical, jazz and old-fashioned popi is going to visit Turkey for three shows in three big cities. As part of their European tour to mark the 17th year of their career, The band is readying to take the stage on July 8 in the western province of İzmir within the scope of the 26th International İzmir Festival. The concert will take place at Çeşme Open Air Theater.
Pink Martini visits Turkey to give 3 shows in 3 cities
On July 9, the band will move on to Ankara, where they will perform a concert at the Middle East Technical University’s Vişnelik facility.
On July, 19 Pink Martini will meet their Istanbul audience once again at the Turkcell Kuruçeşme Arena on the shores of Bosphorus where they performed in 2005 for its opening.
