Ronaldinho Gaucho wants to quit Flamengo, after the club failed to pay the star footballer, Galatasaray showed interest in signing him, but the transfer is vetoed by Turkish manager Fatih Terim due teams policy regarding wages.

Istanbul / NationalTurk – Ronaldinho’s statement comes due to the fact that Flamengo has not paid the athlete what was promised in the lucrative contract he signed with Flamengo. In total, Flamengo owes Ronaldinho more than 2 million US dollars (3.7 million in Reais, Brazil’s currency).

If Flamengo are unable to settle with the player, Ronaldinho claimed that he will not play in the team’s 2012 debut in the Rio de Janeiro state championship and will also sit out against Bolivia’s Real Potosi on January 25 in the first match of the 2012 Libertadoes Cup.
