Ray Bradbury lived in Los Angeles since he and his family moved there from his native Illinois, to look for work during the Great Depression. Marguerite Bradbury, Ray’s wife has died in 2003 aged only 57. He is survived by his 4 daughters : Susan Nixon, Ramona Ostergren, Bettina Karapetian and Alexandra Bradbury, and 8 grandchildren.
Ray Bradbury Sci-fi writer received the two thousand National Book Foundation Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters, the 2007 Pulitzer Prize Special Citation and the 2004 National Medal of Arts.
