China’s Sex Toy Industry Booms as company sells 50,000 Inflatable Adult Dolls while Turkey, Korea and Japan emerge as main exporting countries.

Beijing / NationalTurk – Adult sex toys industry is booming and China benefits most of all thanks to customers in Japan, Korea and Turkey, 3 countries about 15 % of the total dolls are exported to.

The Ningbo Yamei plastic toy factory sold more than 50,000 adult sex dolls in 2011. The factory lies on the outskirts of Fenghua, Zhejiang province, and it started producing sex dolls three years ago and now owns a total of 13 types of dolls with an average price of a sex doll being $16.

China is leader at sex toys productions, Turkey among biggest sex dolls importers

China is the world’s biggest producer of sex toys, 70 % of all sex toys in the entire globe are accounted to be manufactured in the country. China’s sex toy industry is estimated at $2 billion. The major export markets of China’s sex toys are South Africa, South Korea and Russia, while the U.S. accounts for only 2 % of the market, since USA has its self sufficient sex toy production.
