Tata Nano to Launch Deluxe by 2012

Tata Motors, after accomplishing its aspiration of providing the low-cost car to the middle class population of India, is now moving ahead with another project, a fully loaded deluxe version of Nano to be launched by 2012.

The new version of Nano, besides having a more powerful engine, will also sport comfort and safety features including power steering, airbags and Anti Braking System. The firm is already working on an advanced version of its budget car for the European markets, which was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009.

The company has also plans to introduce the same vehicle in India, in tandem with the launch in Europe. PM Telang did not rule out the possibility of the firm launching the Nano Europa in the domestic market. “Perhaps, there is a chance of us launching Nano Europa in the burgeoning small car segment in India”, Telang said.

Europa has all the ingredients to make it as a wonderful budget car in Europe as the firm is making all sorts of tweaking, which would be a step above the existing ones plying on Indian roads. According to Telang, Europa will be highly sophisticated and much more aesthetic than the existing model with several additional features such as a more powerful engine, power steering, airbags and ABS with requisite structural strengths.

Furthermore, the all new Tata Nano Europa will have longer wheelbase than the existing ones, besides the redesigned interiors. The best part is that the new car would be powered by a three cylinder sporty all aluminum MPFI engine that will have a five speed automatic transmission. Also, the new petrol engine would be much more fuel-efficient and having lesser carbon emission of less than 100 gram per kilometer.

  1. Together with every thing that appears to be developing inside this particular subject matter, a significant percentage of opinions are actually quite refreshing. Even so, I am sorry, but I can not subscribe to your entire theory, all be it radical none the less. It looks to us that your opinions are not completely rationalized and in reality you are generally your self not even wholly confident of your point. In any case I did enjoy reading it.

  2. Nearly all of the things you claim happens to be supprisingly appropriate and that makes me wonder the reason why I had not looked at this with this light before. Your article truly did turn the light on for me personally as far as this particular topic goes. Nonetheless at this time there is actually one issue I am not too comfy with and while I make an effort to reconcile that with the actual main idea of the position, let me see exactly what all the rest of the subscribers have to point out.Nicely done.

  3. Have you ever considered writing an ebook or guest authoring on other sites? I have a blog based upon on the same topics you discuss and would really like to have you share some stories/information. I know my audience would enjoy your work. If you’re even remotely interested, feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

  4. These committees continue the trend started with the constitution committee, the police reform committee, and the mass media committee. That is, reconciliation almost exclusively aims at the converted. It largely is an exercise in strenthening the self-identity of the establishment, as opposed to an attempt to expand the socio-political system to include those who have largely been excluded.

  5. certainly like your web site however you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I to find it very troublesome to inform the truth then again I will certainly come again again.

  6. The mearkt that TATA is going for is not people who don’t have cars, but those who drive two and three-wheelers in India. BTW, the dimensions of the Nano are pretty close to a conventional three-wheeler “auto-rikshaw” in use in India. While it might generate a little more in terms of CO2 than an two wheeler, I’d say four wheels beat two wheels any day in terms of safety.
