Indian government told the apex court today that servers used to provide porn are located abroad and they cannot direct internet service providers to block these websites.

“We cannot block 40 million porn websites operating in India. We are making efforts to persuade social media networks to have servers in India.  We are making efforts to bring servers operating from the foreign land to India to control pornographic websites,” it said.

‘Laws should be faster than technology’
