The 33-year-old footballer who signed the official papers in front of 15,000 fans at the Beşiktaş Inönü stadium was shocked by the support he received.

The footballer who has signed away from Real Madrid for the first time in his career looked mesmerized by the World famous Çarşı fan group which holds the world record for the highest decibel of sound made at a football game.

Though the amount of fans which came to the signing ceremony of Guti was notably less then Ricardo Quaresma’s, there were some spectacular views at the Inönü stadium.

The fans that turned up to the ceremony were especially surprised when the Spanish footballer did a Beşiktaş trade mark celebration.

Meanwhile, Beşiktaş fans that had criticized and fiercely protested chairman Yıldırım Demirören were now supporting him. Fans were heard chanting “This is not enough Yıldırım Demirören” signaling for the transfer of world super star Robinho.

Yıldırım Demirören who spoke at the ceremony said “Now our only target is to regain the Turkey championship and to win the Europa Cup. Now the job is in your hands, the big Beşiktaş fans. I wish the best for Guti at Beşiktaş.”

Guti also spoke after the chairman said “Thank you all for being here. For me, wearing this shirt is a big honor.

“I am very happy to be in Turkey. I am very happy to be part of a team like Beşiktaş. At the same time, playing in front of fans like these is a dream for me.”

After Guti signed the papers, he continued his speech saying “We will become champions together. And in the next season we will play in the Champions League. Thank you for greeting me like this.”

Guti signed with Beşiktaş for a two year deal worth a reported €3 million.
