Turkey Draw Korea Republic

Turkish Football National Team drew against Korea Republic 0-0 in a friendly game which is their first match of 2011. The match was played in Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium, Trabzon, Turkey.

Before the match, Hamit Altıntop has rewarded beacuse of winning the Puskas Award 2010 at ‘FIFA Ballon d’Or Gala’ by his wonder volley from outside of the penalty area in the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying match between Kazakhstan and Turkey played in Astana on 3 September 2010. Altintop took his gift from TFF President Mahmut Özgener and Trabzonspor Sports Club President Sadri Şener.
