Turkish Airlines launches Istanbul-Barcelona flights

Turkish Airlines has started flights between Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen Airport and Barcelona, according to a press statement released.

The Sabiha Gokcen-Barcelona flights will be held seven days a week, the statement said.

From Sabiha Gokcen Airport, Turkish Airlines already flies to 21 European and Middle Eastern destinations.

THY to launch direct flights to Miami

Miami in the US “sunshine state” of Florida is to become Turkish Airlines 12th destination in the Americas, the company has said.

Miami flights will be operated seven times per week in both directions from Oct. 25, 2015, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Turkish Airlines’ CMO Ahmet Olmustur said: “We’re thrilled to name Miami as the newest gateway in the U.S. and proud to serve one of the most influential tourism scenes in the world.

“Our global network and award-winning service will make international travel easier and more convenient for both business and leisure travelers in this area.”

Turkish Airlines currently offers flights from Turkey to Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Boston, Montreal, and San Francisco (Anadolu Agency)
